Zoo Med's ReptiTherm Heat Mats are designed to provide consistent heat at floor level in terrariums. They are especially useful for warming substrate and creating a warm zone for reptiles that prefer to warm up near the ground. While not ideal for creating a full thermal gradient , they are useful for maintaining a stable temperature at the bottom of the terrarium.
