The Sarasinorum gecko ( Correlophus sarasinorum ) is a species endemic to New Caledonia, closely related to the crested gecko ( Correlophus ciliatus ). It is generally larger and more robust than the latter, with smooth skin and coloration ranging from brown to gray, often with mottling or spots.
It is a nocturnal and arboreal species, known for its calm demeanor. Unlike the crested gecko, it has a thicker, prehensile tail that it does not shed as easily . It adapts well in captivity and shares similar humidity and temperature requirements.
