Pagoda Stone is a natural rock prized in aquascaping and terrarium keeping for its layered and textured appearance. It is distinguished by its irregular layered formations, reminiscent of traditional pagodas, hence its name.
Of sedimentary origin, this stone features shades ranging from beige to brown with natural veins and cavities, offering a striking visual effect. It is often used to create realistic rockscapes, miniature cliffs, or intricate structures in aquariums and terrariums.
Pagoda Stone may contain traces of limescale, which can affect the pH and hardness of the water. It is therefore advisable to test it before introducing it to a freshwater aquarium requiring low mineralization. For a terrarium, it is an excellent choice for dry or semi-humid areas, providing both shelter and climbing surfaces for reptiles and amphibians.
