Trichorhina tomentosa – Isopod Dwarf White
The isopod Trichorhina tomentosa , also known as "Dwarf White", is a small, white species without a hard shell. It is mainly used in bioactive terrariums because of its essential role in recycling organic waste and maintaining the soil.
Discreet and non-invasive, it prefers humid environments with a substrate rich in organic matter. It feeds on rotting wood, dead leaves, and sources of calcium. Easy to raise, it is also an excellent food source for small insectivorous amphibians and reptiles.
