Size: It is generally small in size (typically less than 1 cm), characteristic of many species of the genus Cubaris.
 Behavior: Like many Cubaris, it is somewhat more timid and slower than other genera (such as Armadillidium). It is also capable of rolling itself into a ball (conglobation).
 Origin: Although Cubaris often come from Southeast Asia (Thailand, etc.), 'White Shark' is a stabilized breeding line for its color.
