This woodlouse is a geographical variant or a particular lineage of the species Armadillidium frontetriangulum, which, as its name suggests, originates from the island of Corfu (Greece).

 
 Appearance: It is highly valued for its coloration. It often has a grey or bluish body and is distinguished by bright yellow to orange spots that form a marbled or chevron pattern.
 
 Size: This is a medium to large size species for a woodlouse.
 
 Behavior: Like all Armadillidium, it is capable of rolling itself completely into a ball (conglobation) for protection.
 
 Role: It is very popular among breeders for its beauty and is used in bioactive terrariums as a substrate cleaner.
